Fortnite has just rolled out its “Storm Racers” series of weekly challenges which involve the storm for some of them, and for others? They’re totally unrelated like dancing at telescopes or racing in ways that have nothing to do with the storm, heading to the race track or doing time trials.
There’s one challenge that is simply landing on Polar Peak, a volcano and a hill top with a circle of trees. I have written some pretty basic Fortnite challenge guides in my day, but at this point, I think it’s a safe bet to assume that you know where Polar Peak and the volcano are. But the hill top with a circle of trees? Maybe not.

I have seen a number of YouTube guides for this incorrectly saying that the circle of trees is on a hill just north of Frosty Flights in the snow. It’s just a bunch of trees with a clearing and a house in the middle, but this is absolutely not the right place to go, so don’t do that.
Rather, you’re heading toward what is normally called “stunt mountain,” but for our purposes, it’s a hill top. And it has a very clear circle of trees on it.

As the challenge name explains, you actually have to land here from the battle bus, you can’t just build up to it, which is fine because building up there would be kind of a pain anyway. Once you’re up there you can pray that there’s a chest there and that 50 other people doing this challenge haven’t gotten it first.

My advice? Land there, get the challenge done, and then get the hell out of there. That is a tiny area and there are going to be a ton of people landing there for this challenge. Here’s where this is on the map, by the way, if that refreshes your memory. This is just north of the “glitched item” blank rift zone where the soccer stadium used to be, and north west of Tilted Town, which is about to go away and turn into Gotham City. Long story.

Thankfully there is not a Prestige Challenge this week asking you to visit Polar Peak, the volcano and this hill top in the same match, as that would be an enormous pain. This is just a regular challenge and once you do it, you’re done.
