All ‘Fortnite’ Season 3, Week 10 Final Challenges And Guides To Solve Them – Forbes

What appears to be Fortnite’s final week of challenges here in season 3 has arrived, as Epic ramps up its fight with Apple, the season ending on time for once is kind of key to making a point at millions of iOS players will not be able to download the update for next season.

What that means is that finishing up the challenges is more important than ever as there will apparently not be any bonus weeks or months full of XP for you to keep adding to your battle pass. A new set of challenges are live today, and you can see them below:

  • Search Chests at The Authority (0/7)
  • Eliminations at Misty Meadows (0/3)
  • Collect Fireflies from Weeping Woods (0/5)
  • Dance on the Apres Ski dance floor for 10 seconds (0/10)
  • Destroy shipping containers at Dirty Docks (0/7)
  • Deal damage to opponents with Shotguns or SMGs (0/500, 0/15,000 for a team challenge)
  • Search Ammo Boxes at Frenzy Farm (0/7)

This challenge list continues Epic pretty much phoning it in with challenges this entire season, as they’re not interesting or challenging or fit with a specific theme.

Chests, eliminations, destroying shipping containters, ammo boxes and shotgun and SMG damage are about as straightforward as you get, so there’s no real point going into those to any degree.

Fireflies in Weeping Woods may be a surprise if you haven’t played for a bit and didn’t know that Weeping Woods had resurfaced again from being drowned underwater. Fireflies are everywhere there, not in any super specific locations, so just hunt around.

Then you just have to dance on the Apres Ski dance floor, that ski lodge in the southern mountains that we’ve been to for about five different challenges at this point, and I’m pretty sure dancing there was one in the past as well. We have a guide for where Apres Ski was in case you forgot.

So yeah, as far as we know this is the last week of challenges and this season ends on time, for the first time in several seasons, in about a week. We’ll see if Epic pulls any last minute tricks, but I really do think the point is to end the season promptly in order to make the case about Apple restricting the game from being updated due to its recent app store bad (it was also banned on Google Play, but you can side-load it on Android devices through Epic itself). We’ll see how that shakes out in a week or so.
