Evil Geniuses (EG) vs. T1 Esports (T1) (4:00 AM EST) (-850 T1)

T1 start off the slate trying to prevent regression after coming off a one-game loss against an EG team that’s trying to extend their one-game winning streak. The objective is in favor of T1 here, especially with a first-tower rate of 90% versus EG’s 67%. This puts more pressure on EG to win their battles and even if the mid-lanes have been poor for both teams and EG still doesn’t have an edge here with an -8.5 middle-lane rating versus T1’s -3.1. Faker dealing the most damage (22.7%) in mid-lane for T1 should benefit from this and is the second most efficient player for T1 behind Oner which boosts T1’s chances even more.

G2 Esports (G2) vs. PSG Talon (PSG) (4:50 AM EST) (-410 G2)

G2 remain undefeated this stage against one of the two worst teams in the league in PSG who have been struggling in the objective especially with a -27.1 cs differential early. Unfortunately, for PSG, G2’s strongest slayer in Flakked in bot-lane has the most vspm among the high damage dealers. This should cause the minions/monsters to become less of a problem for G2. PSG also has the lowest towers killed per game (2.5) compared to (8) from G2 which may put them at even more of a disadvantage. Caps has also maintained high consistency in mid-lane with the most damage of both teams at 28.1% which should help G2 prevail.

Royal Never Give Up (RNG) vs. Saigon Buffalo (SGB) (5:40 AM EST) (-1450 RNG)

SGB have been struggling the most this stage and remain winless against a RNG team that’s getting a streak going with two wins in a row. The dragon control rate of RNG has been the best among the league at 76%. This should make accomplishing the objective for them easier against a SGB team that’s averaging a 52% dragon control rate. The jungle rate is also a gap in favor of RNG at 55.6% versus SGB’s 49.5% which boosts Wei’s changes of being consistent in this lane particularly for RNG (7.8 KDA). SGB is also the lowest slaying team this stage so far with a team overall KD of 0.76 which may result in them getting dominated this game.

T1 Esports (T1) vs. PSG Talon (PSG) (6:30 AM EST) (-1450 T1)

Another potential uneven matchup in favor of T1 will go underway as they face the second worst slaying team in PSG (0.82 KD) which gives T1 an edge with their 1.79 team overall K/D. PSG was also dominated objectively by T1 the last time these two faced off and had zero towers compared to T1’s eleven. Zeus led the way in kills for T1 in the previous matchup and currently leads the way in damage at 25.7% which should give him a good shot as performing just as well if not better this time around. Hanabi still has the most damage at 30.3% in top-lane and can possibly counter Zeus but the fact it didn’t pan out well last time doesn’t bode well for the rematch. Since PSG’s first-blood rate is one of the lowest at 20% they may end up getting put in a hole early compared to T1’s 60% and may have trouble getting their revenge here.

Royal Never Give Up (RNG) vs. G2 Esports (G2) (7:20 AM EST) (-123 RNG)

The battle of two tops teams this stage will go down here again and G2 won the previous series. However, the slaying was close which may emphasize the performance of the objective in this matchup.  G2 performed better in that regard last time with nine towers compared to RNG’s three. Also, G2 having two players end with double-digit assists complemented G2’s slaying well. Caps being the player to have the most assists last time while dealing the most damage currently can cause problems for RNG in the mid-lane especially. The vspm edge for G2 with their support Targamas having a 3.03 rate (more than any anyone on either team) and high kill efficiency at 8 should create openings for G2 even more. Regardless, this match can still go either way but the tower/dragon control should be key and if G2 continues to maintain a 100% baron rate which would boost their damage and abilities.

Evil Geniuses (EG) vs. Saigon Buffalo (SGB) (8:10 AM EST) (-203 EG)

To conclude the slate SGB’s matches don’t get any easier as they face an EG squad they went toe to toe with in their last faceoff. Despite Froggy going kill-less in that game SGB still avoided going down double-digits in towers and kills against EG. However, Froggy being the second highest kill-participator and performing like that again would still hinder SGB. Danny should be able to counter Shogun in bot-lane due to more consistency (3.5 KDA versus Shogun’s 2.5) which could take a toll on SGB with him being the most efficient player for his team. This could be enough to prevent SGB from prevailing especially with EG having the +20.7 cs differential over SGB’s +12 which will make going through monsters/minions in lane even easier as the fight SGB. EG should win here but there should be no surprise if it’s close.
