They also offer you a means to regain health if you hunt them. In Fortnite, you can find wildlife on the map. Some are on land, others in the water, and some are even in the sky. Thanks to the addition of chrome in Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 4, your quest will lead you to some shinier wildlife. They don’t drop anything different, though. It’s merely a cosmetic change.

Here are the different kinds of wildlife you can currently find in this season:

  • Wolves
  • Boars
  • Loot Sharks
  • Frogs
  • Chicken
  • Crows
  • Supply Llamas

The wildlife in Fortnite is completely unique, so if you want to hunt them, it helps to learn how they function. In the following sections, we’ll break down each of the wildlife, how to hunt them, and where you can locate them.

Land-Based Wildlife Locations and H0w to Hunt in Fortnite

Wolves:

Location: Around the countryside of Lustrous Lagoon.

HP: 250

Wolves roam in packs much of the time, and they can quickly become a mob. So, take care not to find yourself overwhelmed, and don’t stop firing until they’re down. You’ll hear them via their distinctive howling.

Boars:

Location: Rave Cave, Chonker’s Speedway, and Shifty Shafts (in pens).

HP: 120

Boars make a snorting sound, so if you’re in the wild hunting them, you can hear them before you see them. They’ll actively attack the player as well, so come prepared.

Frogs:

Location: Ponds and shallow riverbeds.

HP: 20

Don’t let the low HP fool you. Frogs are one of the most difficult wildlife to hunt in Fortnite, even once you find their location. This is because they’re so tiny. So, don’t waste ammo. Simply toss some grenades to get the job done.

Chicken:

Location: Around farm areas near Cloudy Condo, Sleepy Sound, and Coney Crossroads.

HP: 60

Chickens tend to run when they see you, so the only issue you’ll have is catching up to them. They travel in packs more often than not, though. This way, it isn’t too complicated to get one.

Supply Llamas:

Location: Random

HP: 1,500

Good luck with this hunt. With their random spawn, you’re lucky to track one down. Supply Llamas don’t attack, though. Instead, they run off. Simply shoot them up until they explode.

Loot Sharks:

Location: Island coast and Loot Lake.

HP: 2,000

One of the deadliest wildlife to hunt, do this at your own risk. Preferably, you’ll want to tackle this foe in a group, as it’ll take a lot to bring them down for the Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 4 quest.

Crows:

Location: In the sky …

HP: 50

Like frogs, crows are not fun wildlife to hunt for this Fortnite quest. They don’t have an exact spawn location. All you can do is find a high spot and keep an eye on the sky. The best thing about them is that once you do spot one, they only take a shot or two to put down.
