BBC Earth’s “Frozen Planet II” docuseries will begin airing in North America on Sat., January 28th and we invite you to explore five Minecraft worlds inspired by each episode available free on both Minecraft Bedrock Edition and Minecraft Education.
These “Frozen Planet II” worlds are Minecraft’s most popular educational content to date, with millions of downloads from teachers and students in more than 110 countries around the world. In February, BBC Earth and Mojang Studios will share the DLC worlds with members of the European Parliament in Brussels, following a similar presentation to world leaders at COP27global summit last year.
For the first time ever, Minecraft players will play through the lens of an animal and explore the impact of climate change through a unique, immersive gaming experience.
