Rocket League celebrates Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month with free items – Upcomer

Rocket League announced a celebration of Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month with free in-game content as well as The Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Américas tournament. This tournament allows teams from both North and South American countries to win money for a charity of their choice.

Rocket League celebrates the Independence Days for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Chile as well by giving away a free bundle with items by creators of Latino heritage. This bundle features the Acero-Florentina Wheels, made by Psyonix’s Jose Flores, and three Player Anthems by AL3JANDRO. Psyonix is teaming up with Rocket Street, which organized the South American RLCS, to host the Goals for Change tournament. To top it all off, Psyonix is providing $53,000 for the tournament, which teams can earn for their desired causes to donate to.

Rocket League Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Américas

The first Goals for Change tournament occurred in March of 2021, featuring women from the Rocket League community.

The Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Américas is the second installment of the tournament and it is split between two regions: North America and South America. Rocket League players from the included countries can sign up for their respective regions, with Peru eligible for both depending on location. The North American region consists of Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico and the United States. The southern region includes Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

The prize pool is nothing to sniff at either. The full prize breakdown of $53,000 between both regions is as follows:
