It’s Skye’s turn in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2, bouncing all over the map in her magic hat, swinging her sword around and camping out by the ocean: she does all manner of things, it would seem, and she’s the focus of this and next week’s challenges. There are some interesting ones in the bunch, and some that you might want a little bit of help for. One, in particular, you might not know how to complete unless you’ve spent sufficient time in the southeastern part of the map. Here’s a map, guide and location for where to hide in creepin’ cardboard at the box factory.

The box factory can be found nestled in the mountains, sort of in-between two of the bigger ones and just south of a little white ridge on the map. Here’s where you’re going:

It’s a nondescript little thing, which I suppose is appropriate given that it’s a box factory. But here’s what it looks like from the air:

So all you’ve got to do is head on in and hop into a box to complete this challenge. If, like me, you haven’t gotten around to the challenge that asks you to do damage in creepin’ cardboard yet, this is as good an opportunity as any to wrack up a couple of points while doing another challenge.

The box itself has always seemed to me to be a sort of Metal Gear Solid reference: the game has had sneaking items before, most notably the bush, but using the box for the secret agent challenge seems like a direct reference to Hideo Kojiima’s legendary stealth action series, in which the cardboard box is an iconic tool for fooling somewhat dimwitted guards.

Stealth has always been an odd proposition on this game, only occasionally useful. It has more purpose now that we have AI to use it against, but against players it’s unlikely to do you a whole lot of good unless you stay perfectly still, and even then someone might pop a few rounds into a suspicious box just for good measure.
